Sheldon brings over two decades of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong focus on the manufacturing, research, and development of drilling tools and technologies since 1995. He joined Scout in 2008, contributing his deep technical expertise and industry insight to the company's continued innovation and growth.

Prior to joining Scout, Sheldon held key roles at several Edmonton-based companies, including API Valve & BOP Services, KW Downhole Tools, and Wenzel Downhole Tools. His hands-on experience across these organizations has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of downhole tool development and operational excellence.

In 2000, Sheldon earned his Canadian Red Seal Machinist certification from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, further solidifying his technical foundation and commitment to precision manufacturing.

Chad brings 23 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, having held a variety of engineering and operations management roles throughout his career. He has been with Scout for over a decade, previously serving as President of Innovation. In his current role, Chad leads the company’s efforts in innovation and technology, ensuring Scout remains at the forefront of delivering advanced directional drilling solutions.

He holds a Mechanical Engineering Technologist diploma from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, providing a strong technical foundation for his leadership in product development and operational excellence.

With more than a decade of experience in the oil and gas industry, Kelly brings a well-rounded background spanning business operations, logistics, facility management, technical sales, and business development. Beginning her career with Integrity Directional Services, she gained a foundational understanding of the business through accounting, inventory management, and day-to-day operations. She continued to expand her industry knowledge through positions with Schlumberger and NOV, later serving as Operations and Facility Manager at Rival Downhole, where she further developed her expertise in operational efficiency, asset management, and downhole drilling technologies.

As VP North American Sales at Scout, Kelly draws on her diverse experience to lead sales strategy, strengthen customer relationships, and drive business growth. Her progression from business operations into executive sales leadership provides a unique perspective, allowing her to connect technical expertise with commercial strategy and customer needs.

Kelly believes successful leadership is built on accountability, collaboration, and strong relationships. With a hands-on, results-driven approach, she is passionate about developing her team, building trusted customer partnerships, and contributing to Scout’s continued growth and long-term success.

Steve Jones is the President and CEO of Sanvean Technologies. He leads the engineering and operations team in the development and commercialization of next-generation rotary steerable systems, instrumented real-time motors and embedded data recorders for the energy industry.

With 30 years of experience, Steve is a detail-oriented and performance-driven leader with deep expertise in directional drilling, rotary steerable systems, research and development, and product management. His career includes key roles at Halliburton, Pathfinder Energy Services, and Schlumberger, with assignments across both domestic and international markets.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Mechanical and Offshore Engineering from The Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland. He is a recognized leader in the field, having authored over 30 technical papers on drilling technology and holding more than 24 patents and pending patents worldwide.
